Nuance opens Armani Cosmetics boutique
Nuance-Watson has opened its Armani Cosmetics outlet at
Singapore Changi airport's terminal 2. The minimalist-styled store
is Armani's first cosmetics boutique in Asia and only the second
such outlet at an airport. The first opened in London Heathrow last
August.
Designs for the face, as Armani states, "is more than make up; it
is fashion that can be layered as well as the clothes that form the
pieces on the catwalk." So far, there are only 11 Armani Cosmetics
outlets worldwide.
The Nuance Group Asia Pacific ceo John Moore, commented: "Nuance-Watson is operating eight perfume and cosmetic outlets in all parts of Changi's terminal 2. The Giorgio Armani cosmetics boutique features a very popular brand and adds to the modern and inspiring look perfumes and cosmetics are presented with at this terminal."
Thibault Villet, head of travel retail Asia Pacific for Scental, which holds the licence for Armani cosmetics, said: "We took the strategic decision to open the first boutique in Asia at Singapore's Changi airport. Changi is the second largest airport in terms of duty-free sales worldwide and represents a showcase for Asia with its international clientele. We are confident that the strong Armani brand awareness in Asia as well as the appeal of this exclusive cosmetic range will trigger further development in the region."
