The retailer boosts its landside presence with a fashion and accessories store

The Nuance Group has added to its retail offer at Zurich airport in Switzerland by opening a 200sq m (2,152sq ft) shop selling fashion and accessories products. The landside store, which opened last month, incorporates shop-in-shop concepts from underwear and homewear label Skiny, fashion brand Esprit and newly-developed Nuance sunglasses concept Sun'catcher. Nuance describes the brands as mid-priced, young and trendy.

The shop is the third Nuance store to open in the landside shopping centre following the fine-food concept Gourmetto and baggage and travel accessories concession Travel Star.

"For many years now Nuance has been the major retailer at Zurich airport; but until last year this presence was limited solely to the airside area," said CEO Europe Carlo Bernasconi. "This new fashion and accessories shop further strengthens our landside presence and helps us to service locals and staff, another important customer group at Zurich airport."
