The Nuance Group has been awarded contract extensions at the North American airports of Toronto, Calgary and Washington DC.

The biggest contract covers Nuance's operation at Toronto, where Nuance has been
operating ever since 1983. In addition to the 13 existing stores, 10 duty-free and three
duty-paid, a new landside duty-paid store of 452sq ft (42 sq m) will open at terminal two in May.

Nuance will also open a new duty-free store of 1,200sq ft (112sq m) to replace an existing outlet. The new contract is valid through March 2004.

In Calgary, Nuance is expanding its existing business by a new duty-free store at Concourse D covering 1800sq ft (393sq m), to be opened in January 2003. The contract for the new store as well as the existing three stores has been extended until December 2010.
