Nuance extends at key North American airports

?The Nuance Group has been awarded contract extensions at the
North American airports of Toronto, Calgary and Washington
DC.
The biggest contract covers Nuance's operation at Toronto, where
Nuance has been
operating ever since 1983. In addition to the 13 existing stores,
10 duty-free and three
duty-paid, a new landside duty-paid store of 452sq ft (42 sq m)
will open at terminal two in May.
Nuance will also open a new duty-free store of 1,200sq ft (112sq m)
to replace an existing outlet. The new contract is valid through
March 2004.
In Calgary, Nuance is expanding its existing business by a new
duty-free store at Concourse D covering 1800sq ft (393sq m), to be
opened in January 2003. The contract for the new store as well as
the existing three stores has been extended until December
2010.

At Washington Dulles, where Nuance currently operates four
duty-free stores, the contract has been extended until May
2003.
In Canada, Nuance is the leading duty-free retailer with various stores within Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary airports, at downtown locations in Vancouver and Victoria, and at the mountain resorts of Banff, Alberta and Whistler. In the US, Nuance is operating airport shops at Washington Dulles, Denver and Las Vegas.
