After a six month refurbishment period, the retailer has unveiled its expanded offer at Stockholm Arlanda

The Nuance Group has launched its extended and upgraded shopping offer at Stockholm Arlanda airport. Retail areas across three terminals were expanded by a total of 420sq m (4,520sq ft). Nuance has added four stores, including a 145sqm (1,560sq ft) fragrances and cosmetics store and a 35sq m (376sq ft) gadget shop in terminal 4. Terminal 5 has gained a 120sq m (1,290sq ft) electronics store and a fashion outlet dedicated to Hugo Boss and Swedish designers, converted from a former cosmetics and fragrances shop.

Existing stores have been given a new layout, with two walk-through stores created in T5 and T2. In T5 the cosmetics and fragrances shop was moved across the aisle from the liquor, tobacco and confectionery store which the company said would encourage better passenger flow. In T2, which hosts the non-Schengen passengers, the retail space was doubled to create a 240sq m walk-through store featuring all product categories.

The Nuance Group CEO Europe Jean-Paul Bonnel said: "The fact that we work with our airport partner extremely closely on the airport marketing committee and have regular reviews to assess performance and bring improvements to our operations has been a big factor in the success of this project. It shows what can be achieved if landlord and retailer really team up with their customers in mind."
