Nuance appoints senior North American executives

The Nuance Group's Canada division has strengthened its management team by appointing a new director of operations for North America, as well as a new chief financial officer.

Rick Sidorowicz has been appointed director of operations for The Nuance Group's Canada and US, Central America and Caribbean divisions. With over 20 years of retail experience, his last position was vice-president operations of Tip Top Tailors, a division of Dylex Limited.

Steven Bryce succeeds Daniel Boller as chief financial officer for The Nuance Group Canada. He has more than fifteen years experience in the retail, consulting and service sectors, including his most recent position as vice-president, corporate controller for Toronto-based Shoppers Drug Mart.

The Nuance Group Canada and USA, Central America and Caribbean ceo Roger Dunbar said: "We have created the new position of director of operations to bring even more focus into our North American operation, further strengthening the Nuance brand and enhancing operational excellence throughout our Canada region. Rick Sidorowicz with his extensive background in retailing is just the person to carry this process further." Dunbar added: "Steven Bryce is going to bring his vast retail experience to bear on our future growth and development in North America."

Both Sidorowicz and Bryce have already taken up their positions and are based at The Nuance Group (Canada) head office in Mississauga, Ontario.
