The Nuance Group is increasing its management team at Stockholm to drive operational efficiency

The Nuance Group is to step up the operational management of its store network at Stockholm Arlanda airport, led by new general manager for Sweden Thomas Friberg.

This month Nuance will appoint three new managers, to scrutinise operations and drive efficiency at the new store network across all Arlanda's terminals in close association with the retail landlord Arlanda Schiphol Development Company.

While the company reports improved sales since its retail revamp - which included the addition of four new shops and a total of 420sq m (4,519sq ft) extra shop floor space - Friberg said that the layout of the terminals is such that stronger operational efficiency is required to overcome issues of passenger flow, narrow departure halls and awkwardly positioned stores.
