The Nuance Group and one of its main suppliers provide a new focus on chocolate at Zurich

The Nuance Group and Lindt, one of its key suppliers, have teamed up to develop a new confectionery retail concept at Zurich airport's new Airside Centre, which opens in September.

Lindt will take half the space in the new 330sq m (35,500sq ft) chocolate shop on level 2 of the complex, with its own expert chocolatier demonstrating the art of chocolate-making for passengers. The area will also feature a range of leading brands for sale. On level one of the complex there will be another confectionery outlet of 70sq m (753sq ft), but without the chocolate-making showcase.

Nuance said: "The presence of a confiseur at the main shop allows passengers to see behind the curtains of the manufacturing process of exquisite chocolate specialties, a process that creates interest as well as appreciation. The store offers much more than just retail, it becomes a stage designed to entertain the traveller and contribute to a positive travel experience."
