The retailer has opened two beauty stores at Singapore's new low-cost facility
Nuance-Watson (Singapore) has opened two fragrances and cosmetics outlets at Singapore Changi airport's new terminal for low-cost airlines, which was inaugurated yesterday (March 26). The retailer's store in arrivals measures 175sq m (1,880sq ft) while the departures store covers 300sq m (3,230sq ft).Nuance's new global head of the fragrances and cosmetics category Ken Tse—also executive general manager of Nuance-Watson (Singapore)—said: "The advent of low-cost airlines has allowed consumers to travel more frequently, thus fuelling the phenomenal passenger growth in this segment. We are glad to partner Changi in their efforts to cater to the needs of emerging low-cost carriers in the region."
The retailer plans to introduce a number of merchandising initiatives aimed at budget travellers, including a Hot Deals programme offering beauty items at prices starting from $19. The new stores offer over 100 international brands, said the retailer.
