Nuance-Watson launches Olympic booth at HKIA

The launch of the booth coincides with the company’s 10th anniversary and helps celebrate the Beijing Olympics
Nuance-Watson (HK) has launched the first airside Beijing Olympic themed booth at Hong Kong International airport (HKIA) offering a wide selection of official Olympic merchandise. The booth is located in the terminal one departures East Hall on level six and will be in operation until the end of August.
The booth follows the standard requirements relating to merchandising, store design and merchandise presentation as set by the Beijing Organising Committee for the games. A selection of products will be available including t-shirts, caps, precious metal medals, stuffed toys ceramics and gift items for adults and kids. The retailer will also offer a range of Olympic memorabilia from The Olympic Museum Collection which includes t-shirts, caps, postcards and pin sets. All assortments will be regularly updated in the run-up to the Olympics.Nuance-Watson (HK) regional managing director Alessandra Piovesana said: “We feel honoured to be able to contribute a part in realising Beijing Olympic Games’ concept of “One World One Dream” at HKIA, the strategic gateway of China and official airport for the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian events. Our ultimate goal is to create a unique merchandising environment and produce an interactive Olympic experience for millions of travellers.”
Promotions and other activities are also being planned alongside partners such as Samsung and Panasonic to “heighten the Olympic spirit” in HKIA stores. In addition, Nuance-Watson (HK) and official Olympic timekeeper Omega plan to open a second airside exhibition in August to mark the end of Omega’s Olympic exhibition tour.Bookmark This Article
