Nuance-Watson gains Changi foothold with beauty contract

The Nuance-Watson (Singapore) joint venture has won the fragrances and cosmetics concession for Singapore Changi airport terminal two.

From September 1, Nuance-Watson will operate eight shops in the terminal under a three-year agreement.

The concession comprises a total of 981sq m (10,556sq ft) of retail space which comprises six fragrances and cosmetics shops and two specialist boutiques, one featuring the MAC brand and the other featuring Giorgio Armani.

The Nuance Group president and ceo Peter Petersen said: "We are very happy to have been offered this opportunity at Changi airport. We plan to develop something truly unique here, and to satisfy our customers with the kind of refreshing new concepts that have already given our Hong Kong operations so much appeal."

The new outlets at Changi will be branded "Perfumes & Cosmetics by Nuance".
