The company hopes to open a new beauty concept at Singapore Changi terminal one, sources have told RavenFox.com
Nuance-Watson (Singapore) is planning to open a new beauty concept with a mid-price focus at Singapore Changi terminal one later this year, RavenFox.com understands. The company is in negotiations with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore for airside space of about 60sq m (645sq ft).The retailer is considering an initiative that will mix fun and sporty brands within a mid-price structure. These could include fragrances from the Beckhams, Adidas and Paris Hilton ranges and brands such as Hard Candy, Urban Decay and Pupa. A source close to Nuance-Watson told DFNI that the retailer is in discussions with about 20 new brands which will add "energy and diversity" to its existing portfolio of 90 brand names. The new-look store will have a retro design, with some accessories and a nail service.
The source told RavenFox.com: "In major airports the beauty offer is sometimes restricted to the usual premium-priced brands due to space constraints and financial return requirements. This concept will allow it to cater for a much diverse consumer base."
Nuance-Watson could not confirm the plans at the time of press but sources indicated the store could open by July.
