The cosmetics brand's outlet targets the young urban generation from a prominent location in Hong Kong International airport's main shopping area
As revealed in DFNI May 15, Nuance-Watson (HK) has partnered L'Oréal Luxury Products Division to open the world's first Kiehl's airport store in Hong Kong International airport's terminal one East Hall. The brand, which offers products blending cosmetic and pharmaceutical properties, occupies a prominent location on the main shopping aisle and is aimed at the "young urban generation".The store offers travel-retail exclusive sets tailored for various consumer groups, with sets including The Ultimate Man Refuel Kit, The Getaway Collection and Baby Set. Each set includes deluxe samples, such as lip balm - one of Kiehl's best-sellers - a baby t-shirt and shaving cream.
L'Oréal Luxury Products Division general manager for Asia/Pacific travel-retail Remi Chadapaux said: "This store sets up the model of development we want for the company in our very specific distribution."
Nuance-Watson (HK), L'Oréal and Airport Authority Hong Kong celebrated the opening by presenting a cheque to childrens' cancer charity Camp Quality Hong Kong and its celebrity spokespersons.
