Nuance-Watson (HK) celebrates 10 years at HKIA

The anniversary celebrations coincided with the beginning of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

Retailer Nuance-Watson (HK) and Airport Authority Hong Kong have hosted an event to mark the tenth anniversary of their partnership at Hong Kong International airport (HKIA). The celebration also coincided with the start of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as Hong Kong will host the competition’s equestrian events and Nuance-Watson (HK) is launching a Beijing Olympics souvenir store.

The party took place at The Plaza shopping area at HKIA terminal one’s East Hall, featuring special Olympic-themed decorations and a children’s ballet performance. Nuance-Watson (HK) also presented a commemorative gift set to the first 30 members of its 175-strong team at the event.

Nuance-Watson regional managing director Alessandra Piovesana said: “Nuance-Watson (HK)’s success comes from its customers. Airport Authority Hong Kong general manager Eva Tsang said: “Since the airport’s opening, I have seen the continuous efforts the team has put in to bring in new concepts, brand name boutiques, expand their business portfolio and improve customer service levels to cater for the increasing demand and sophisticated tastes of our passengers. Throughout the 10 years of ups and downs in the business, together we have survived the difficult times and witnessed the success of our hard work. Nuance-Watson has been a great business partner to our airport.”

The retailer is running a series of shopping promotions to boost sales at HKIA as part of the tenth anniversary celebrations. More than 1,000 products feature discounts of up to 40% and an exclusive Olympic postcard set with 10 poster designs from past Olympic Games will be available to customers.
