The travel-retailer has teamed up with Bulgarian distribution company Vega Star Trading to form The Nuance Group (Bulgaria)

The Nuance Group has teamed up with Bulgarian-based distribution company Vega Star Trading to create a new distribution unit providing goods and travel-retail services.

The Nuance Group (Bulgaria) will provide duty-free and duty-paid products for airport, land border and seaport shops in Bulgaria. It will also offer additional retail and food and beverage services at airports and other travel-retail locations.

The Nuance Group CEO Retail Services and Distribution Carlo Bernasconi said: “We are extremely pleased to be entering the Bulgarian market through a joint venture with an experienced distribution partner. The combination of thorough local market know-how and our international expertise in travel retail is bound to be a recipe for success. We look forward to providing our services to many partners in this new market for our company.”

Vega Star Trading executive director Stanislav Angelov commented: “We are convinced that our presence in Bulgaria will bring provide great support and development opportunities for our clients. The know-how of Nuance will raise the business to a much higher level.”
