Airlines can conduct real-time inflight credit and debit card transactions using loyalty programme cards
Novo IVC and Wingspeed Corporation have announced a joint solution that willfacilitate real-time inflight credit and debit card authorisations and transactions on board airlinesusing airline loyalty programme cards.
Novo IVC managing director Tim Clifford said: “The solution will address a need that the market has clearly articulated to us and will bring a number of significant benefits. It will mean lower bank charges, reduced fraud and the opportunity to partner higher value goods for sale onboard. These benefits represent a compelling return on investment.”
Wingspeed director of sales in Europe Ciaran Bernard added: “We are excited at partnering with Novo IVC, which is an industry leader in the provision of point-of -sales systems to the aviation industry as demonstrated by their exclusive client list of leading airlines.
