Nottingham gets fashion boost

Nottingham East Midlands airport (NEMA) has boosted its fashion offer with the opening of two new specialist stores today, Rohde Shoes and Vittorio, an Italian fashionwear brand
Vittorio and local company Rohde Shoes have opened stores in the airport's departure lounge after both signing three-year contracts with NEMA.
Vittorio will sell Italian shirts, blouses, scarves, ties, belts and accessories, The company, which has employed three people to work in the store, already has shops at Manchester, Pisa, Venice and Lisbon airports.
This will be Rohde Shoes' first airport outlet.
The chain will sell ladies and men's shoes, handbags, bags and accessories, ranging in price from about £50-100 ($93-187).
NEMA commercial manager Jamie Christon said: "We very much look forward to welcoming these new retailers to the airport and the subsequent employment opportunities. The shopping experience at NEMA is constantly improving and these additions can only build on the whole experience we have to offer our customers."
The new stores are part of a £2m ($3.73m) upgrade in the airport's facilities. Last year NEMA handled 4.38m passengers, a 3% increase on 2003.
