Nordic seminar line-up announced

ETRC president Frank O’Connell heads a line-up of speakers discussing ”business excellence” at the Nordic Travel Retail Seminar 2007
This years Nordic Travel Retail Seminar will address issues including how global trends influence Nordic travel-retail and how travel-retail can compete with domestic retail.
The event, which takes place on May 31 at Copenhagen aiport and the Admiral Hotel in central Copenhagen, features a line up of speakers including European Travel Retail Council president Frank OConnell, Michael Skov from Retail Institute Scandivia and Alred Josefsen from supermarket chain Danish Irma. They will discuss the theme of striving for business excellence.
Nordic Travel Retail Group chairman Erik Thomsen said: Our aim is to inspire the key players in the Nordic Travel Retail Business and to strive for retail excellence. Travel-retail is all about great brands in a great environment and with all the new security regulation it is even more important to ensure a nice travel experience
He continued: We want to look positively at the future, but we will also spend time on the current security issues at the airports, because it is a concern right now and we need to up date our members and colleagues on the efforts we have done together with ETRC.
The conference, which has a registration fee of 285 ($380), will be moderated by Moodie Report's Dermot Davitt.
