The Nordic Travel Retail Group is to meet with the heads of SAS Group and the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority in a closed meeting themed "how travel-retail serves the travelling public"
The Nordic Travel Retail Group (NTRG) is to host a closed meeting with SAS Group president and CEO Jorgen Lindegaard and Swedish Civil Aviation Administration director general Lars Rekke. The meeting, to be held on February 24 at SAS Group's Stockholm headquarters, is entitled "How travel-retail serves the travelling public" and will focus primarily on air travellers in the region.
Both executives will address members of the NTRG with their views on how travel-retail helps their businesses and vice versa. NTRG chairman Alan Bork said the gathering was intended to emphasise the importance of travel-retail's contribution to the travel industry as a whole and to look towards the future of travel-retail.
?In this industry we must never forget that we are not just a trade in itself, with the narrow purpose of selling products from our stores,? said Bork. ?Our overall raison d'ętre is to be an important part of the whole chain of experience for travellers.?
