This year's Nordic Travel Retail Seminar will be held on May 25-26 and is to be hosted by Color Line's cruise ship Color Fantasy. The vessel will sail between Oslo and Kiel, after which delegates will visit Gebr Heinemann's new logistics centre in Hamburg.

The full schedule has yet to be announced, but will include presentations from Color Line, Stena Line, Inflight Service and Danish department store chain Magasin Du Nord. The seminar, to be moderated by Martin Moodie of Moodie International, will cover topics including: the challenges facing Nordic ferries; the neglected convenience category; and suppliers' views of the regional travel-retail market.

The event costs Eu645, which includes all meal, a three-course gala menu, accommodation in luxury single cabins and bus transfer to Hamburg airport or train station after the event. The Nordic Travel Retail Group is inviting members to send one delegate free of charge.

The full schedule is to be released next month. For more details see www.nordictravelretail.org or call +45 7023 0053.
