New mid-price fashion concessions are available at Singapore Changi airport terminal two
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has issued a new tender for mid-priced brand name fashion concessions at Singapore Changi airport terminal two’s departure/transit lounge north, level two. The size of the spaces available has not been revealed. The closing date for applications is October 23 and the contracts will run for three years from March 1 2009.
CAAS failed to award an earlier tender for a speciality/brand name concession at Changi terminal one’s departure/transit lounge east, level two. HT Avenue (Singapore) was the only bidder for the space, but its proposal did not pass the concept evaluation stage of the tender.
Finally, Vendermac Distribution was selected to operate an 85sq m (914sq ft) children’s concept shop concession at Changi T3’s departure/transit lounge north. The company offered an additional rental of either 15% of the total monthly gross sales for sales up to S$70,000 ($49,000) plus 20% of incremental gross sales for monthly gross sales above that amount, or a minimum monthly guarantee of S$7,500 ($5,250), whichever is higher. The operator beat competition from Burberry and Jay Gee Enterprises’s Kidstyle concept, and it will open a Kidz Time Boutique outlet.
