Representatives from DragonAir, L’Oréal Travel Retail and Microsoft have joined the speakers list for the event
Organisers of the Airline Retail Conference (ARC) 2011 Asia-Pacific have announced several new additions to the speaker line-up of next year’s inaugural event in the region, which will take place in Macau on January 11–12.
DragonAir general manager inflight services Cecilia Leung will lead a panel exploring why airlines reject some products and rejoice at others, while L’Oréal Travel Retail regional manager Europe Augustin Bondonneau will be part of a session discussing how to promote inflight retail as a sales channel to consumers.
The final addition is Microsoft Zune senior business development manager Dave McLaughlan, who will offer delegates a presentation on new ways of monetising inflight entertainment (IFE) systems. Other confirmed speakers at the event already include AirAsia X CEO Azran Osman Rani, Nok Air CEO Patee Sarasin and Mango Aviation Partners principal Steven Greenway.
ARC event director Alex Vail said: “The topics being discussed at the conference are quite creative, considering real issues affecting the sector. We are working to bring in high-level speakers who are prepared to share their knowledge and expertise with delegates.”
The event’s provisional agenda is available on ARC’s website. A 25% early-bird discount applies to all bookings made before November 15—the regular registration price is £590 ($950).
