A decision on retail space at Glasgow Airport's 'Skylounge' to be taken soon

Sources at Glasgow Airport have told DFNI that new retail spaces are 'very possible' in the airport's new third-floor terminal development Skylounge. A decision on whether to use remaining unallocated space in the terminal for retail will be taken by the management board later this year, according to the source. Other alternatives are for the space to be used for food outlets.

Total space available in the Skylounge 700sq m (7530 Sq ft). A decision on potential retail coverage has not been taken, but any stores will be situated next to business and family passenger lounges.

Opened in 1966, Glasgow Airport is Scotland busiest international airport. Forecasts are for 24 million passengers a year by 2030.
