Six retail spaces available between September and October

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is expected to issue several Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for six retail spaces that will become available at Orlando International airport between September and October. Three of the locations will be for general retail concessions, while the rest are allocated for specialty snack and beverage outlets. According to the Orlando Business Journal newspaper, two of the new retail locations are in the main terminal buildings and the other four are in satellite terminals.

More retail opportunities will become available in 2009, when the refurbishment works at terminals one and three airside, which house gates 1-59, are scheduled to be completed. Orlando International services about 35m passengers annually.
