Fashion and watches retailers have been chosen to operate in the international departures area

Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has announced that it has selected new concessionaires to operate at Bangalore International airport, which is due to open on March 30. Indian fashion designer Deepika Govind, who is based in Bangalore, will showcase exclusive collections at a mono-brand store in the international departures area. An Ethos Watches outlet offering branded timepieces and writing instruments will also operate in the same area, a first for any Indian airport according to BIAL.

For the domestic departures area, BIAL has chosen Carbon Accessories to operate a mono-brand shop. A LaModa outlet will feature fashion wear and accessories from brands such as Tommy Hilfiger. Odyssey, a subsidiary of Decan Chronicle Holdings, will retail books, music, gifts, toys and flowers in the arrivals hall.

BIAL had previously selected The Nuance Group’s joint venture with Shoppers’ Stop to operate at Bangalore airport.
