New format for Inflight Sales Person of the Year Awards

The Inflight Sales Person of the Year Awards are getting off to a flying start this year with the launch of a new website: www.ispy-awards.com allowing airlines and cabin crew to access information and personalised registration forms.

Now in its third year, the organisers Travel Retail Training and Alpha Airports Group, confirmed the 2001 event is to be held at London's Royal Lancaster Hotel on 30 November. A 50% increase in participation last year underlines the growing importance attached to these awards. Entries from 75 cabin crew from around 35 airlines worldwide are forecast to take part in a series of tests on sales techniques, use of the PA, trolley merchandising, sales awareness and product knowledge. This year's product knowledge seminar will take place on a luxurious Thames river boat. 

Registration for the event begins on 25 June.
