The publisher of TRW and DFNI unveils plans for the third Global Travel-Retail Summit and new global and regional travel-retail awards

Raven Fox has announced a raft of exciting new initiatives for 2005. The third Global Travel-Retail Summit, to be held on February 2-4 at London's Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel, will feature presentations from the world's biggest retailers, airport authorities and suppliers, plus in-depth research from RFH Consumer Insight.

To coincide with this key global conference, the DFNI publisher is to launch the Raven Fox Global Travel-Retail Awards, to be held on February 2 alongside the popular Raven Fox Charity Ball. Delegates to the Summit are invited to attend the Ball and the awards ceremony.

Also new for 2005 are the Raven Fox Awards for Travel-Retail Excellence in the Americas, which will honour the region's best travel retailers and suppliers at next April's Duty Free Show of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Key categories include Americas Travel Retailer of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Airport Retailer of the Year, Cruise/Ferry Retailer of the Year and Inflight Retailer of the Year.

As with the Asia/Pacific awards, both the Global and Americas awards will be decided by an industry vote to ensure a true reflection of travel-retail opinion.
