New dates for Trinity Forum
Dermot Davitt
The event will now be held in September instead of March
Tax Free World Association and The Moodie Report have announced that the second Trinity Forum will take place in London on September 22-23 2005 instead of March as originally proposed.
The parties said that the move to new dates followed extensive consultation with sectors of the industry. The event will also be held every two years, they added.
The second Trinity Forum will take the theme "Thought Leadership". The event is being supported by the Duty Free World Council and a percentage of profits is being donated to that body to assist in its efforts to protect, promote and advance the interests of the whole industry.
The Moodie Report publisher Martin Moodie said: "The first Trinity Forum set out to address the most acute intellectual and commercial issues facing the business, specifically its financial model. This event will focus on the vision required to take the industry forward in the 21st century."
TFWA president Erik Juul-Mortensen said: "We are delighted to confirm the dates and location for the Trinity Forum. In a crowded industry calendar we believe a senior level and highly-focused gathering such as this every two years has a vital role to play in the future development of our business."
