The new outlet will join the ones already open at Dallas Fort Worth, Miami International and Oakland International airports

APW Holdings, parent company of electronics retailer Airport Wireless, is to open its latest Techshowcase outlet on April 19 at New York JFK International airport terminal three.

The 715sq ft (66sq m) store is the third Techshowcase outlet in the US, joining those at Dallas Fort Worth, Oakland and Miami International airports. The company is set to open 20 more across the country during the year.

Airport Wireless co-CEO Ilene Berman told DFNIonline: “We already have an Airport Wireless store at JFK and New York is the right demographic for our Techshowcase products. We always consider demographics and passenger traffic when deciding where to open new stores, but technology seems to cross over to all demographics so we are always confident when it comes to openings.”

She added: “The store is not as big as the other Techshowcase outlets and although there will be products from a more limited number of manufacturers there will also be some from new manufacturers which we have not previously worked with.”
