Nestle International Travel Retail reports record month

The company shipped over 1,000 tonnes of confectionery to the travel-retail trade, up 54% on March 2003.

Nestle International Travel Retail has reported a record month in March, shipping over 1,000 tonnes to travel retailers. Last month's volumes represent a 54% increase compared with March 2003, and NITR general manager Stewart Dryburgh revealed that a strong performance by Cailler had boosted results.

Said Dryburgh: "I believe that this reflects the positive mood within the industry at large and we would like to thank all of our customers for their help in making this possible."
