Nestlé names travel-retail general manager

Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR) has announced the appointment of Stewart Dryburgh as general manager, effective July 1 2002.

Dryburgh joins NITR from Nestlé UK in York, where he has held positions in both sales and brand management within the confectionery division.

Prior to his official starting date, and bearing in mind his ongoing obligations to Nestlé UK, NITR said it hopes that Dryburgh will be able to attend both Beijing for the China Travel Retail Summit and Singapore for the TFWA Asia Pacific Show. 
 
During the interim period Iain Harrison , NITR commercial manager, has taken over the day to day responsibility and management of the business.

General manager Nestlé World Trade Corporation Gordon Gillett commented: "I am absolutely delighted to welcome Stewart to Switzerland and more especially NITR. He brings proven experience, talent, drive and enthusiasm to an already highly motivated, dedicated and hard working team. I have no doubt he will continue to build on, and further develop, the solid base left by his predecessor"
