My Travel and Alpha launch new catering range

Alpha Flight Services, the inflight catering division of Alpha Airports Group, has launched its Blue Sky Service catering package

The inflight range focuses on six taste packages?World Fusion, Whipper Snacker for children, Café Society, Applebury's gastro-pub, Inner Sense health food and Pure Indulgence. The range was designed with input from MyTravel, who Alpha CEO Kevin Abbott said was the caterer's key airline partner.

The range became MyTravel's new catering package from November 1. The concept features disposable roll mat ?trays' with a mini rubbish bag, replacing traditional plastic trays, described by My Travel cabin services director Samantha Mackie as "a thing of the past".

MyTravel managing director Frank Pullman told Raven Fox.com: "The concept is about putting food back on the menu, and it creates space so we can put in higher-earning products in place."
