Mounib promoted at Abu Dhabi

Mohamed Mounib has been promoted to managing director of Abu Dhabi Airport Catering and Duty Free. In his new role, he will have responsibility for inflight catering and duty-free operations at Marsa Alam airport in Egypt.

He has been general manager of Abu Dhabi Duty Free since 1984. He took responsibility for Al Ain International airport when it opened in 1994 and was appointed commercial development and marketing director for the Abu Dhabi Department of Civil Aviation in 1992.

Meanwhile, ADDF has announced record sales for the first half of 2001, of $48m.
