Abu Dhabi Duty Free managing director Mohamed Mounib has bid farewell to colleagues in the duty-free industry in a personal statement

Abu Dhabi Duty Free (ADDF), managing director Mohamed Mounib, who is to leave the company, and his other role as commercial director of Abu Dhabi Airport Company (AIAC), has made a personal statement about his time in the industry and his decision to leave.

He said: “After 23 years at Abu Dhabi International Airport in charge of duty-free and catering, I have decided the time has come to start a new venture. As of July 31, I am leaving AIAC/ADDF to steer a new company, Pearl Azure Hotels Management & Property Co. I hold wonderful memories of my time working within this remarkable and exciting industry. I hope that our path will cross sometime in the future and I will be looking forward to that.

He added: “I thank you for your support over the years and I wish you all continued success in the future.”
