Montero to head ASUTIL

The Aldeasa international director will take office in January 2007

Daniel MonteroFollowing a board meeting in Montevideo, Aldeasa international director Daniel Montero has been appointed president of South American duty-free trade association Asociación Sudamericana de Tiendas Libres (ASUTIL). Before taking on his current post at Aldeasa, Montero was the company’s Latin American director and was responsible for the company’s sales development in Chile, Peru and Mexico.

 

Montero will take office in January 2007 for two years. He takes over the post from Walter Zeinal, president of Zeinal Hermanos—the duty-free concessionaire on board the Buquebus ferries that link Uruguay and Argentina.
