Montana wines to stay at Pernod

Diageo declines to buy the New Zealand wine operation



Pernod Ricard is to retain its Montana New Zealand wines operation after Diageo declined to exercise a purchase option for the company. The option was granted as part of an agreement between Pernod and Diageo relating to the acquisition of Allied Domecq.
Pernod Ricard is now the world's third largest supplier of branded wines, with annual sales of 23m cases.
