LVMH's drinks business acquires the famous Scotch brand and its accompanying portfolio
LVMH Moët Hennessy?Louis Vuitton has announced the completion of its offer launched in November 2004 for Glenmorangie's malt whisky portfolio. As well as its eponymous brand, The Glenmorangie Group owns two other malts: Glen Moray and Ardbeg.
Moët Hennessy president Christophe Navarre said: We are delighted to have acquired this wonderful company, with talented management and a proven track record in this high-growth sector of the market. We look forward to harnessing our excellent distribution network to accelerate Glenmorangie's potential."
