Middle East retailers commit to TFWA World Exhibition

Retailers in the Middle East have expressed their support for the forthcoming TFWA World Exhibition, through regional body the Middle East Duty Free Association (MEDFA).

MEDFA president John Sutcliffe said: "Even though the downturn in economic activity has had a serious effect on our duty-free retail business, we believe the markets will return fairly quickly to a stable level. To this end, the majority of our members will be attending TFWA's World Exhibition to see new products and meet with our suppliers and industry counterparts.

"This event is an important bringing together of key industry players, and it is through partnership that we will get through these difficult times."
