Publishing International, in alliance with Raven Fox Conferences, announces that the 8th Annual Middle East and Africa Duty Free Symposium will be held on 21 to 22 January 2002 in Amman, Jordan.

The conference, originally scheduled for 11 to 13 November 2001, has been rescheduled because of the uncertainties following the September 11 attacks in the US.

In addition to the scheduled programme of presentations and discussions, the delayed event will include a special session on the effects of the Trade Center attack on the Middle East travel-retailing industry. As originally planned, the Symposium is being held at Le Meridien Amman Hotel, Amman, Jordan, under the patronage of the country's leader King Abdullah ll.
