Menno moves to the US

The Belgian jewellery supplier has partnered with US manufacturer NNJ Development and will be based in Florida from this month

Antwerp-based jewellery supplier Menno Design is to move to the US following an announcement that it is partnering manufacturer NNJ Development. The company, now called Menno USA, will be based in Miami, Florida from March and will have Menno Design CEO and founder Menno Fluit as vice-president of design and product development.

Fluit said: “Over the past few years my client base has grown dramatically and the Menno brand has increased in popularity and recognition. As a result, I have been forced to spend most of my time with the details and operations of the business, and less time with design and product development. By associating with NNJ, I can once again focus my time and energy into designing and creating unique jewellery designs for my client partners in the travel-retail industry.”

NNJ president and CEO Nasib Thabet said: “One of the most critical goals that we have accomplished has been to consolidate manufacturing, packaging, distribution, accounting and customer service that were previously scattered globally into one company and under one roof. This new synergy provides Menno and the Menno brand with a unified company that will efficiently benefit our clients with the very best in products and service, now and in the future.”

Fluit added that the company will have access to new resources which will enable Menno to “build the brand aggressively” throughout travel-retail. Plans for Menno USA include the introduction of new products and packaging, according to the company.
