The Americas feature highly on Maxxium’s priority list for its Absolut Mango roll-out

Maxxium Global Travel Retail (MGTR) has revealed its launch schedule for V&S Group’s Absolut Mango in travel-retail. Following the global launch in Brazil in February, the new Absolut flavour will be introduced in April at London Heathrow airport terminals three and four, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa airports. May will see the promotion running in New York JFK, San Francisco International, Los Angeles International and Hawaii airports, and by June it will be extended to other US locations, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Absolut Mango will be introduced at other major hubs in Asia/Pacific and Europe after June, and Dubai International airport will host promotional ‘nosings’ following the success of a similar venture with Dubai Duty Free when Absolut Pears was launched. The new vodka flavour will also be featured by MGTR at the Duty Free Show of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale on April 6-10.
