Martínez joins Dufry as global head of beauty

The former Aldeasa international division manager for perfumery and cosmetics joined the company on February 1

Retail operator Dufry Group has announced the appointment of Pilar de Garrastazu Martínez as global head of beauty, a newly created position. Martínez, who joined the company on February 1, had previously worked for Spanish travel retailer Aldeasa since 1976, where she most recently held the position of international division manager for perfumery and cosmetics. She will report to group procurement director Nigel Keal.

Dufry said in a statement: “Pilar will enrich this category with her international experience combined with her long-standing relationships with suppliers.”
