Martinez takes up key position at Dior

LVMH Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton has announced the appointment of Claude Martinez as president and ceo of Parfums Christian Dior. Martinez will take over the role in June and replaces Bernd Beetz, who left Dior to take up the role of ceo at Coty.

Martinez was previously president and ceo of Unilever-owned Elida Faberg?. He will report to president of the LVMH Perfumes and Cosmetics Group Patrick Choel. Commented Choel: "We are pleased to have attracted such a highly regarded international executive to this position. His skill in fostering innovation and growth is well suited to the house of Dior."
