Marc O’Polo to open first Asia/Pacific store at Changi airport

German fashion house Marc OPolo plans to open its first travel-retail store in the Asia/Pacific region in January in cooperation with Nuance-Watson (Singapore). Located at Singapore Changi airport terminal three, the 62sq m (667sq ft) outlet will offer the brands collection for men and women and leathergoods from its accessories line.
Marc OPolo international travel-retail manager Toni Hager said: We are proud and delighted to open the first Marc OPolo store in the Asia/Pacific market at Changi airport. The cooperation with Nuance-Watson is exactly that kind of strong partnership we search for to increase our travel-retail business at international level and especially in Asia. We are looking forward to a successful future cooperation and are convinced that our product and brand features will perform well at the location of the new T3 at Changi.
Marc OPolo has travel-retail stores in Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Berlin Tegel airports. The company forecast turnover of 274m ($385m) for the financial year 2007/2008, up 14% from last year.
