The 40sq m (430sq ft) space with EgyptAir Duty Free Shops is the brand’s first travel-retail point of sale in the region
Fashion brand Marc O’Polo is to open a shop-in-shop with operator EgyptAir Duty Free Shops at Cairo International airport terminal three in October. The 40sq m (430sq ft) menswear store is the brand’s first travel-retail point of sale in the region and its second airport store launched this year following the opening of a 62sq m (667sq ft) stand-alone store at Singapore Changi airport terminal three, which is operated by Nuance-Watson (Singapore).
Marc O’Polo travel-retail manager Toni Hager said: “We are excited about our cooperation with EgyptAir Duty Free Shops and are looking forward to a successful partnership at Cairo T3. We very much trust in their travel-retail experience and competence and they believe in our brand values and products.”
The Cairo outlet will offer Marc O’Polo’s Modern Casual menswear fashion line and leathergoods from the brand’s Accessories collection. The company said in a statement that it aims to extend its travel-retail business by opening more stores in Germany and international markets in 2008.
