Malaysia Airports' retail subsidiary Eraman will partner the Spanish fashion retailer as it opens its first Asian airport shop in Kuala Lumpur

Spanish fashion retailer Mango has made its debut in the Asia/Pacific airport retail market, opening a landside boutique at Kuala Lumpur International airport on May 19. The boutique will be operated by Eraman Malaysia, retail subsidiary of airport authority Malaysia Airports.

Speaking at the opening of the store, Malaysia Airports managing director Dato Seri Bashir Ahmad Abdul Majid said: "Eraman Malaysia believes that today's signing ceremony will mark the beginning of a fruitful and long lasting partnership for both parties. In line with Eraman's philosophy, we would like to establish a brand that is different from the existing offer, where we offer high-end and high street brands. As the industry is changing, especially [with regard to] fashion and the way people dress, we believe that with its attractive pricing on top of the latest and trendiest products, Mango has met the demand."
