Malaysia Airlines' (MAS) retail arm Golden Boutique has scrapped its airport collection service and reduced the inflight duty-free programme in a radical overhaul of its retail operations.

The company said it wanted to encourage passengers to spend more time in its Golden Boutique store at Kuala Lumpur International airport. The airline's inflight retail programme, due out in January,  has been cut from 100 to 64 pages and features 30 fewer products.
