Malaysia Airlines lures passengers to Temptations

1-Mar-2003

Malaysia Airlines is expecting onboard sales to double in 2003, following the launch of its new inflight brochure

Temptations, launched early this year, offers a range of tobacco, liquor, and fragrances as well as household products, with much of the stock exclusive to duty-free.

Many items will be available onboard before they enter domestic markets, such as the new Bvlgari fragrance Eau Parfumee au The Blanc, offered months ahead of its Malaysian domestic launch in April. The brochure will be updated every three months and a spokesman said prices would be slightly lower than at airport outlets.
