Macau event early bird discount closes on Friday

21-Nov-2006

Only a few days remain to catch the November 24 early bird discount on the first ever Asia Pacific Travel Partnership Symposium. The event—to be held on January 24–26 in Macau at the new signature resort by Steve Wynn—is being produced in partnership with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), and supported by DFS Group as premier sponsor.

Excitement is building for this highly anticipated event due to a unique speaker lineup that includes decision-makers from both the travel-retail and wider travel and tourism industries. And we are proud to announce several newly confirmed speakers, including the Ritz Carlton Hotels Group/Ritz Carlton Hong Kong vice president/general manager Mark Lettenbichler, ClubMed President & Ceo Asia Pacific Joel Tiphonnet (previously vice president corporate relations LVMH Asia Pacific) and Visa International Asia Pacific chief representative China corporate relations Vivian Zhao and director corporate relations south and southeast Asia.

We are also delighted to announce the full support of the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO), and senior officials will be in attendance as VIP guests throughout the event. The MGTO will also escort delegates on a private guided tour of the Macau sites and latest property developments on the Cotai strip, followed by a hosted lunch on the Saturday morning after the Symposium ends.

The Symposium will focus on how travel retailers and related travel service providers can increase sales by sharing information and working together. This unique event is the first to unite senior executives from the travel-retail and wider travel and tourism industries.

Delegates will gain an enhanced understanding of how travel service providers—including hotels, travel retailers, airports, airlines, tour operators, tourism bureaus and travel agents—can drive profits through partnership. A series of entertaining social events will offer delegates the opportunity to foster profitable alliances and network with other senior decision-makers.

The Asia/Pacific event is the first in a series of Travel Partnership events planned by Raven Fox. Watch out for details of the European Travel Partnership Symposium, to be held on June 27–29 2007 in Barcelona, Spain.
