ABN AMRO Insurance CEO and chairman becomes new board member

Schiphol Group has appointed Maarten de Groof as chief commercial officer (CCO), effective from February 1 2008. De Groof, who is CEO and chairman of ABN AMRO Insurance, will become a member of Schiphol Group’s statutory board of management and oversee the company’s commercial activities, particularly the consumer and real estate business areas.
