The Middle East Duty Free Association (MEDFA) held its first Annual General Convention on June 15, and confirmed details of the Middle East Duty Free Conference to be held in Dubai on December 3-4.

The Middle East Duty Free Association (MEDFA) held its first Annual General Convention on June 15, and confirmed details of the Middle East Duty Free Conference to be held in Dubai on December 3-4. The event, co-organised by MEDFA and Tax Free World Association with the participation of Moodie International, will cover issues including the future of Middle East tourism, developing markets such as Tunisia and Morocco, the Indian traveller and harnessing human resources. The region?s leading retailers and suppliers will also contribute, while keynote speaker at the event will be Gulf Air president and ceo James Hogan.
